Pickups
We provides FREE transportation only to and from Bangor International Airport (BGR), which is only 10 minutes away. If you fly to Portland or Boston, we can help to arrange a ride at your own expense. Concord Coach bus can also take you from those cities to Bangor and you will see their pick up sign right outside of every terminal in Logan airport in Boston. Please coordinate your flight with their bus schedule at https://concordcoachlines.com/

Placement tests, what to bring and orientation schedule
Students will receive a welcome package on preparation to John Bapst and an orientation schedule after their enrollment. New international students are required to take placement tests upon arrival and then work out an individual class schedule with their counselors.

Residence halls on holidays
Our dorms stay OPEN on Thanksgiving, winter break in February and spring break in April. Our dorms are only close on Christmas holiday. During those school vacations when dorms are open, meals are still provided with no extra charge and students may stay on campus or travel prior to parents’ permission. We also offer activities in local and sometimes a trip to New York or Boston or a ski resort for a few days during those breaks.

Plan ahead on flights booking
Commencement for seniors is Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 1 p.m. For students in grades 9, 10, and 11, final exams are June 10 – 13, 2025. Students can leave on their last day of school.

Parent permission for child’s travel
Parents have to submit a required permission form each time your child travels and the form has to be sent from a parent’s email rather than from a child.
