What do I do when my student is going to be absent?

Before 9:00 a.m. on the morning of each absence, parents are asked to call the administrative office at 947-0313, option 1 and leave a message stating why the student will not be at school.

What if my student will be absent in the future? 

Absences that are known about prior to the day must have a planned absence form filled out. This does not include sick days. You can find these forms in the main office or here on the website. Whether it’s one day or multiple, please turn this form into the main office before your absence. Students are responsible for obtaining assignments which will be covered during their absence.

What is the best way to reach my student’s teachers?

All John Bapst teachers have email addresses. A complete listing of faculty and staff is available here.

When is parking restricted in front of the school?

Parking is now allowed on Broadway directly in front of the school.  A spot is reserved for handicapped parking.  Pick-up and drop-off of students takes place on Somerset Street.  Parking regulations are indicated on city signs and should be followed.

I’m in a boosters group.  What do we need to do when we want to so some fundraising?

Can girls wear leggings to school?

Yes.  However leggings are not appropriate to wear by themselves.  They are not considered modest attire.  Girls must wear a skirt, dress or long tunic that goes to the knee.
