The PSAT allows students to evaluate their current test-taking competencies. The test is divided into three areas: critical reading, mathematics, and writing. It is a preparation test for the SAT, which most students will need for college admissions. The results of the PSAT provide valuable feedback to students in pinpointing areas that may need improvement.
More information will be forthcoming.
What to Bring
All students need to bring several sharpened number two pencils on each of the testing days. Juniors need calculators for the PSAT. For the description of approved calculators and explanation of calculator use, please check the pre-test information students received from the school’s counselors during scheduled meetings, or go to the following online site: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/psat/about/calculator.html
