The SnuggleMuffins from John Bapst made history at the VEX Robotics World Championship in St. Louis!
Out of roughly 10,000 teams from around the world, these Crusaders finished in the top 1% globally, becoming just the second Maine team ever to reach the semifinals at Worlds.
As the 12th seed, they upset the 5th seed in the round of 16, then knocked out the 4th seed in the quarterfinals before falling to the top overall seed (who went on to compete for the world title). Along the way, they earned a nickname from the event announcer: "the Sweet Treat you just can't beat."
John Bapst went toe-to-toe with the best robotics programs on the planet and showed everyone what it means to be a Crusader. We are incredibly proud of you!
