Crusaders represent John Bapst community at the 2026 Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic

Congratulations to Athletic Director and head football coach Dan O'Connell, who led the East squad as head coach. Congratulations also to Brighton Chung, who represented the Crusaders as an East cheerleader. And congratulations to players Zach Gaudette, Aiden Ouellette, and Brody Schroeher for earning their spots on the East roster.

Being selected for the Lobster Bowl means being recognized as one of the best in the state, and all five of these Crusaders earned that honor. But the game is about more than football. Since 1990, the Lobster Bowl has raised money every year for Shriners Children's, a network of nonprofit hospitals that treat kids with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate, regardless of a family's ability to pay. Every player and cheerleader fundraises as part of earning their spot on the roster, and this year's game set a new single-year record, raising over $300,000, the most in the event's history.

Thank you to all five of you for representing John Bapst so well, on the field and off. Go Crusaders!
