Weekly Athletic Schedule–(5-31 to 6-5).pdf
May 29, 2021
WOW! Another month has flown by! Here we are turning the calendar to JUNE! IT just doesn’t seem possible!
With just one week of school left, and as always, your academics need to be your priority this week! Please take care of business in the classroom and finish strong! The final results of the quarter, semester, and year will have consequences that reach into your future next year! GET IT DONE! Good luck!
The track teams had a great showing at the PVC championships, and some are on to the State Championship in Bath next Saturday. Good luck! The lacrosse and baseball teams will finish their regular seasons this week. The tennis and lacrosse teams will also begin post-season play this week! Good luck! Baseball and Softball will start their tournaments next week! Good luck!
There is a recurring theme here–GOOD LUCK! Let’s support each other at this great time of year. School is winding down, graduation and prom are soon, seniors will move on, and returning students will climb by a grade. While all that is happening, postseason competitions in all sports are taking place. Spectators are allowed at all of our games and matches. Support your classmates. Encourage your teammates. Thank your families and friends.
Most importantly take in the experience and have fun! We are so very proud of you!
Please remember as the tournaments move on, the schedule may change. We will keep you posted on any and all changes as they occur. Weather and facility availability can still play a role, so stay tuned. Thank you for your support and flexibility.
Tuesday night, 6/1, at Husson University, at 7pm, we will play our last regular season lacrosse game of the season. During that game, at halftime, we will plan to honor the seniors from both the winter and spring that have not had a chance to participate in a senior ceremony. We will honor seniors from Girls’ and Boys’ basketball, Cheer, Swim and Dive, Ice Hockey, Indoor and Outdoor Track, and Boys’ and Girls Tennis (Baseball seniors will be honored before their game on Tuesday, Softball will do their own ceremony on Wednesday, and Alpine Ski was able to do their ceremony during the season outside). Details and individual invitations will be emailed soon.
Golfers of any level are welcome at the Annual John Bapst Golf Tournament this summer! Aside from raising money for the school, you could win gift cards, rounds of golf, resort getaways and, if you pull off a hole in one, you will win a 2021 Toyota Corolla! This is great fun for a group of friends (adults or students) or you can bring the whole family.
