Good Morning,
Well…what a week! Here’s to a quick melt of what hit us on Wednesday and Thursday! With any luck the temperatures will continue to rise, and we know we will be having games, matches, and meets before you know it!
Thank you for your continued flexibility with the schedule. Facilities are always hard to come by in the spring and the weather over the last two weeks has not been helpful. We will continue to try to communicate changes as soon as we can. If, for some reason, you are not getting these communications, or the ones from your coaches, please let us know.
When we are fortunate enough to use a facility, off campus, please remember to follow the rules, clean up after each other, and be respectful and polite. The same holds true for John Bapst. We need to take care of the school and the gym, and the Darling Center. Follow the rules and have a blast using the facilities. Please remember we still need to wear CLEAN, DRY shoes in the Darling Center, especially since winter is hanging on, but moreover because those are the rules in any season. Thank you for using the facility the right way!
Remember, with regard to transportation, the mini bus picks up behind 80 Broadway for each run. If you need to ride the bus, please email me (doconnell@johnbapst.org) each day you need it. That communication helps us make the appropriate plans. Thank you in advance for following the procedure and sending an email each day.
We are in a new academic quarter. Please work hard to start the fourth ranking period in a positive way. Please be sure to do your asynchronous assignments on Monday. Stay on top of your school work, and be sure to communicate with your teachers and coaches as you have needs in the classroom and after school.
For those of you that need to bring athletic equipment (bat bags, lax bags, sticks, cleats, gloves, helmets, etc.) into the school, please store any of your equipment in your locker, or somewhere that does not interfere with the general traffic patterns of the school. We realize your gear is important. We also know it is expensive. However, the entire community needs to be able to safely maneuver the hallways and corridors. Please keep your belongings stowed away correctly and neatly, and reach out if you need help here.
Enjoy the eclipse and the day away from the school building on Monday. We will get you any changes to the schedule as soon as we possibly can!
