Good Morning All,
After a busy first week of the year, we get right back at it in the last week of the second academic quarter. The 2024 Weekly Athletic Schedule (1-8 to 1-13) is attached.
Please use your time wisely this week. Focus on finishing the academic quarter the right way. If you have grades that need improving, make a plan to get it done. Do not wait until the end of the week to develop a plan. Communicate with your teachers and your coaches to make time to get your work finished the right way and before the end of the week. Get it turned in as requested. Let your coaches know if you are working on your academics and then get to practices and games as soon as you can. If you have any questions or need any help to be successful here, please let us know.
On Tuesday, January 9, we will have an athletic photo make-up session. The photoshoot will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the gym downstairs at school. Please note, if you did not have your picture taken last week you should plan to do so Tuesday. Should you need it, the order form is attached to this email. Your coaches and teammates can help remind you what gear you should be wearing for photos. Please report to the gym as quickly as possible to get your photos done. Thank you.
Please continue to pay attention to the rules, regulations, procedures, and protocols for the facilities we use. Please do what seem like simple tasks like picking up all your belongings and taking them with you, putting trash in the receptacles, and making sure toilets are flushed after use. Especially with snow on the way, please remember to wear clean and dry shoes in the Darling Center. Please follow all parking and traffic rules all over campus. Please be respectful of how we treat our own facilities, the others we are fortunate to use, and to be good neighbors to those around us. Thank you.
This busy time of year demands that we take care of our health. Sickness continues to be prevalent in our communities, so be sure to protect yourselves whenever possible. Please cover your mouth and nose when you cough, and wash your hands. Keep your gear clean. Please be sure to hydrate as much as possible and get as much rest as you can. Finally, if you are ill, be sure to communicate your absence, and stay home.
Please let us know if you have any questions and how we can help you have a great week. GO CRUSADERS!
