Sisters Emily and Elise Tilton, who combined for 59 goals and 29 assists in leading the John Bapst High School Crusaders to a 13-3 record this past fall, are going to play Division I field hockey.
Emily Tilton, who had 36 goals and 10 assists, will attend the University of Vermont on a partial scholarship in the fall and Elise, who had 23 & 19, has verbally committed to attend the University of Pennsylvania beginning in 2013.
….John Bapst coach Gina Schuck, who played Division I field hockey at Kent State University (Ohio), said she expects both girls to be productive college players.
“Emily is very strong and quick and she has an amazing shot. She also has very good game awareness,” said Schuck. “Elise is quick and is more of a distributor than a shooter. She has very good stick skills and is a great passer. She holds the school’s regular season and career records for assists. She can play anywhere.”
