Friday, March 19 & Saturday, March 20
Curtain: 7:00 p.m.
The John Bapst stage and lighting crews are gearing up to take you to New York City in the 1890s. In this musical adapted from the original Thornton Wilder play, Dolly Levi and Horace Vandergelder preside over the chaos, and the comedy pair of Cornelius and Barnaby lead us through it. Come enjoy the music, the comedy and the acting!
Tickets are now on sale in the John Bapst fine arts office in the music wing of the school 7:30 am until 2 pm. Friday is a teacher in service day and tickets will not be available during the day. Tickets for the Friday night performance will be available at 6 pm at the door. Tickets for the Saturday night performance will be available on Saturday night at the door at 6 pm.
In a student driven performance, the students motivate and inspire each other. Since December, John Bapst students have been directing practices, rehearsing their lines, developing their characters, blocking their movements on stage, choreographing dance numbers, practicing their instruments, painting sets and gathering props.
Treat your family to an evening of entertainment. Reserve great seats by purchasing early. Cash and checks accepted.
