Temperatures are hovering around zero and there’s a blanket of white on the ground but fear not, the spring semester is officially underway. As is tradition at John Bapst, a member of our faculty was selected to help set the tone for the new semester by delivering a convocation speech to the student body. This semester, English Teacher Britton Sanders delivered a thought-provoking and uplifting message, included below, about the power of optimism and appreciation for the beauty of our world. The speech, titled “Let Us Be True”, was delivered to a packed house on Monday, January 27 in Sekera Auditorium.
