We’re always happy to share the beauty of Maine with our international students, and a trip to Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island was a wonderful example of this.
Jordan Reeves, Director of Residential Life and a member of the social science faculty, recently took enthusiastic hikers on a trek up the Beehive Trail. It’s a challenging hike as it ascends a 450-ft cliff, offering stunning views over Sand Beach, Thunder Hole, and the Gulf of Maine stretching to the horizon.
Congratulations hikers! In challenging your bodies and minds you saw a special part of Maine from a vantage unique to most.
