Congratulations to Maddie Weston ’22 on earning the Diplomacy Award, the award for best delegate, for her work at the virtual Maine Model United Nations Conference. She represented the Federated States of Micronesia in the Alliance of Small Island States where she and other delegates from throughout the state tackled the pressing issues of ‘Rising Sea Levels & Their Impact on Life on Land‘ and ‘The Ethics of Climate Change: Creating Equitable & Sustainable Food Systems in Small Island Developing States.’
