The Crusader of the Month is a new program to John Bapst, seeking to recognize a significant act representative of the John Bapst values made by a student, in essence, showing that they live by our school values.
The Crusader of the Month recognizes students who, through their actions, demonstrate the John Bapst values of Integrity, Achievement, Respect, and Responsibility.
The Student Life Committee selects at most one nominee from each grade level for recognition once a month (a maximum of four students per month) from nominations from staff, faculty, and John Bapst students. The award is presented at a regularly scheduled assembly. Recipients are given a Crusader of the Month challenge coin, a certificate, and a gift certificate from a local business. A listing of the Crusader(s) of the Month will be recorded for permanent display in the school.
