Crystal Bell has reached a major milestone in scoring her 1,000th John Bapst career point! This achievement is the culmination of many years of hard work and thousands of hours in the gym. Crystal’s dedication, passion and perseverance are driving forces behind accomplishing this goal, as well as the support of family, friends, teammates and coaches over the years.
Crystal and her family would like to thank everyone for their support, especially her sisters, Jocelyn and Clarice, for the thousands of hours and hundreds of weekends in the gym; family members for watching games; Ken Robichaud of Holden School for always being a supportive friend; Sue Skinner for her friendship and love of the game; and to the Elk’s Lodge and Maine Parks and Rec. for sponsorship of youth shooting competitions.
Thank you to the coaches over the past 10 years. Chris Woodside and Mike Webb of John Bapst; Pete Champagne and Dave Folsom of the Maniacs AAU Team; Tommy Smith and Gene Worcester of Holbrook School; and Tyler Smith and Chris Horr of Brewer Travel. Finally, the first coach Crystal ever had and has had ever since she picked up a ball, her Dad, Calvin Bell.
Congratulations to Crystal Bell and the entire John Bapst girls basketball team for a fantastic season so far!
