John Bapst robotics enjoyed great success during the VEX Robotics Competition Saturday, Nov. 11 in Sekera Auditorium.
Many visitors joined in on the excitement as John Bapst Team 2142D took three of the top four awards. Congratulations to Riley, Mackenzie, and Juliet. This is the first time in 8 years of competition that John Bapst has had a triple award winner at a tournament!
Thank you to all who helped at the competition, including the volunteer staff from Black Bear Robotics, as well as the following:
Trish Ortiz made a great debut as emcee; Scott Burgess, Nikki Novak and Sheila Bennett who served as judges; Mona Hillery served on the entry checking people in; Seth and his crew, who put up with our disrupting the brunch schedule.
A number of students helped rest the fields and run concessions as well.
