Congratulations to Ms. Mary Lammert, John Bapst Science Department Chair, on being selected to receive the University of Maine Pulp and Paper Foundation’s Teacher of the Year Award.

Former student, Alia Parsons ’19, nominated her for this honor.

Ms. Lammert will receive her your award at the annual Paper Days Honors Banquet on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Wells Conference Center on the UMaine campus.

The Pulp and Paper Foundation values effective math and science education, believing it is key to attracting students into fields of study and careers in the paper industry.

The UMaine Pulp and Paper Foundation congratulates Ms. Lammert, noting that “your students are testimony to your ability to generate an interest in pursuing STEM fields.”
