
You're invited to the free Summer Performing Arts Camp for all John Bapst Students
Wednesday and Thursday, August 26 and 27, 2026, from 12–3 p.m. | Free pizza lunch starting at 11:30 each day
The music and drama directors and student counselors invite all new and returning students to attend our free Summer Performing Arts Camp! Our camp is designed for anyone, at any level, to come and experience what it's like to be part of the performing arts at John Bapst! Enjoy workshops on whatever interests you -- instrumental music, choral music, drama, and musical theater -- make friends, and have fun! This camp is free, but registration is required.
What to bring and wear:
- Your instrument and your voice. (Without an instrument? We have instruments to borrow, just let us know what you need.)
- Casual attire, such as shorts, T-shirts, sandals, etc.
- A bottle of water
What to expect:
- Meet other students, student counselors, and music and drama directors involved in the performing arts programs
- Get a head start on the music for the 2026 fall performances and a sneak peek at this year's theatrical performances
- Be given your musical instrument locker (strings, brass and woodwind)
Other activities include:
- Games, activities, and an “open mic” show (perform a solo act, or collaborate with a group of new friends)
- A tour of John Bapst
- Celebrate the beginning of a great year of performing arts at Bapst!
