Fall Play
The annual John Bapst fall production is a smaller-scale dramatic show ranging from classics like Little Women and MacBeth to studies in comedic and dramatic timing found in One Acts and more contemporary plays. Fall drama productions begin casting in early September, involve a small cast, and incorporate the set-building, painting, makeup, and light and sound talents of a wider group of students. This is a great way to get involved in John Bapst drama — even if you are new to the school.
Spring Musical
The annual Spring Musical is ideal for students interested in acting, singing, playing in a live pit band, and being involved in technical theater with lights, sound engineering, makeup, set building and set painting, and costumes. In recent years, the John Bapst Players have entertained audiences with Cinderella, Sister Act, Legally Blonde, Little Shop of Horrors, Beauty and the Beast, and Chicago: Teen Edition.
