Application & Guidelines

When you're ready to apply to John Bapst, please follow these guidelines:

  1. Deadline: Priority deadline for the 2010-2011 school year is March 1, 2010. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis between March 2, 2010 and August 16, 2010, as space allows.
  2. Application form: Please download the application form below. If you cannot download the form, you may request one by contacting John Bapst.
  3. Submitting your application: Please follow the instructions printed on the application form carefully. The instructions include the address to submit your application to.

Tuition & Fees

Our tuition rate for the 2010-2011 year is $9,600.  The overwhelming majority of our student body live in towns that pay all or part of the tuition to attend John Bapst. A partial list of legal residences that pay tuition to John Bapst is below:

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available for qualifying students and is based solely on demonstrated financial need as assessed by NAIS's School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) . If you would like information and an application for financial aid, please contact the Business Office at John Bapst Memorial High School, 100 Broadway, Bangor, Maine or by calling (207) 947-0313, ext. 105.

Activity Fee

All families are responsible for the non-refundable Activity Fee of $330 per student. This fee serves as an incoming ninth grade or transfer student's enrollment deposit and is used to help defray the cost of extracurricular activities at John Bapst.  This fee may be divided into two payments with the first payment of $200.00 due on July 17, 2010, and the final payment of $130.00 due on December 17, 2010.  A returning student's Activity Fee will be billed in June and is due by July 17, 2010.

 

Sports Participation Fee

Each student who participates in a sport(s) during the school year is required to pay a $280 Sports Participation Fee. This fee is payable prior to the student's participation in his or her first athletic program.  Once paid, the student is covered for the entire school year.

 

Textbook & Testing Fee

Each student is required to pay a $80 Textbook & Testing Fee. This fee is due by July 17, 2010.
