Administrative Structure
John Bapst Memorial High School is a not-for-profit (501c3) educational corporation governed by an unpaid volunteer Board of Trustees. The board employs a Head of School, who in turn supervises all other employees of the school and has overall responsibility for the school and its programs.
Decision Making
It is a school goal that as much management as possible be transparent, in other words visible to and understandable by those affected. A strong faculty is one whose members can articulate the mission and who understand and support school policies and decisions. Just as the Board of Trustees ultimately holds the reputation and the direction of the school in trust, the Head of School is employed to manage decision making and policy making at school and reserves the right to make final decisions. In the Head of School's absence, the Academic Dean and the Director of Finance and Operations are the co-administrators in charge of the school.
